Happy Thanksgiving!

I wanted to wish all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving!  We’re going way up north again to spend Thanksgiving with my sister-in-law’s family this year.  They always fry their turkeys…usually two of them…and have all the country fixin’s you can imagine.  I’m thankful for many things this year.  My family, my friends, everyone’s good health and spirits and mostly for the love of my life, Mr. Jayfan.  I’m also thankful for Adrien Brody, Jason Statham and James McAvoy for helping to make life interesting and fun and keeping me feeling young and giddy.  Enjoy your Thanksgiving and I don’t forget to smile often, love a lot and breathe!

‘High School’ Pics

WorstPreviews.com has a first look at ‘High School’ with pictures from the new Adrien comedy.  He’s in all his cornrowed, tattoed, caveman facial hair glory as a crazy drug dealer.  Don’t know what possessed Adrien to take this part except we know he loves to try all kinds of different characters and takes parts that he’s never tried before.  Let’s hope he didn’t really hang out with drug dealers or god forbid, deal any drugs while preparing for the role.  Ha!  Click on the thumbnails for a larger view.

Film Location for ‘Predators’

The Herald-Zeitung reports that ‘Predators’ is being shot in Canyon Lake, Texas, between Austin and San Antonio.  So obviously part of the film is here on earth in the jungle and that was the Hawaii shoot and the other part is on an alien planet…hence, the shoot in Texas.

Brody Fansites

Two or three years ago there were tons of Adrien Brody fansites.  That’s when I made the choice not to do one myself.  Now many of those sites have disappeared or haven’t been updated in a long time.  I don’t know if they just lost interest in Adrien or if it just cost too much.  That’s why I decided recently to try my hand at an Adrien Brody site this time around.  This is just a personal blog, but I’ve dedicated it to him.  I’ll try my best to keep up with Adrien news and pictures here.  I also vow to try and make it a fun place for you to visit.  Please feel free to comment.  Vote in the Monthly Poll which I may change to a weekly one when I get enough visitors to make it matter.  Visit the Adge Fan Forever photo gallery.  And if you have Adrien finds that you want to share in private with me, just email it at adgefangirl@yahoo.com

Another Best Movies List

News.co.au Perth (Australia) has their own list of the Best Movies of the Decade and ‘The Pianist’ has once again made it on there.

28. The Pianist (2002)

Legendary Polish auteur Roman Polanski may be on the nose of late but this acclaimed and gripping Holocaust drama delivered its gangly star, Adrien Brody, a well-deserved Oscar and is right up there with the director’s best films (Chinatown, Rosemary’s Baby).

Adrien for ‘Twilight’ Remake

IFC.com (Independent Film Channel) has their dream list of seven remakes they’d love Werner Herzog (?) to direct.  One of the movies on their remake fantasy list is ‘Twilight’ with Adrien playing the part of Robert Pattinson’s character Edward.  I’m all for Adrien playing a sexy vampire, but I think he would be much better as a vampire in a remake of ‘Interview with a Vampire’.  He could take on any of the male parts…Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Antonio Banderas…it doesn’t matter to me.  They’re all sexy parts.  Anyway, here’s what these guys said about Adrien for ‘Twilight’.

He’d need a contemporary actor who could bring some of the angular corpsiness that Klaus Kinski provided back in 1979, somebody like Adrien Brody. Pair him with a starlet like Evan Rachel Wood, who’s already proved herself capable of feigning romantic interest in a man decades older than her in Woody Allen’s “Whatever Works,” and you have the makings of a classic.

Adrien Mention

Austin360.com reports that Adrien is filming ‘Predators’ in Southeast Austin.  That’s all, that’s it.  I wish we had more about the production and some photos would be nice too.  I’ve been watching Twitter and nothing as been said about Adrien being in Austin, Texas.  Let’s cross our fingers for something soon.

Fiji Getaway

According to HelloMagazine.com, one of Adrien’s hotel getaways is in Fiji and called The Wakaya Club and Spa.  I wonder when he had the time to fly to the Fiji Islands with his busy schedule?  They say it’s very private and only eight couples are allowed on the private island at a time so I can understand why he would love it so much.  We know how much Adrien loves his privacy.  Well, that is until he did that silly Hello piece with Elsa and the castle and opened himself wide to criticism.  You know he won’t be doing anything like that in the future.  Now that he and Elsa seem to be on the outs, I guess he won’t be visiting his secret hideaway for a while either…or at least, not until he finds a new love.
