Catching Up

Hi everybody!  Sorry I’ve been absent for so long.  I had a very busy holiday season and work really bogged me down earlier this month.  Guess I missed some Adrien news.  I’m sure all of you Adrien fans followed it all from other sites anyway.  I did get to buy ‘Midnight in Paris’ and even though his part was short and sweet…he totally gave a brilliant performance as Dali.  Adrien also presented the International Star Award onstage during The 23rd Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala at the Palm Springs Convention Center on January 7 in Palm Springs, California and both Zimbio.com and Life.com have pics.  He was one of the celebrities walking the runway for Prada last weekend (DailyMail.co.uk article with pic).  And most recently, Adrien has been spotted with fashion model Afef Jnifen (how do you pronounce that?)…JustJared has the pics.

New Project

Thanks to Riiku for this Variety piece about Adrien joining the cast of a yet-to-be-titled film based on the novel “Remembering 1942″.  They plan to shoot the film this fall for a 2012 release.  Don’t know where they will be filming yet, but the story supposedly takes place in China so my guess is Adrien may find himself somewhere in Asia soon.  I’m kind of worried about him because every time you see the words ‘war’ and ‘famine’ in the same sentence with Adrien…it kind of scares me.  Can you say ‘The Pianist’?  Hope he doesn’t hurt himself again.

Just wanted to wish all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving!  We plan to head up to my mother-in-law’s to take her out for a turkey buffet.  She doesn’t want people to cook in her home and make a mess which is fine by us.  Hope you enjoy your gobble gobble holiday and be safe!
